Do You Think Kids Learn Bad Things Faster These Days

I hear four year olds cursing and I know people who have done drugs since they were 10...Do you think bad habits start earlier now?

Woah...that's bad and yeah, I do agree. There are kids at an early age of probably 11 or 12 who are getting into "active activities." What the? Shouldn't they be enjoying their child life instead of doing things like that? o_O

unless they're like me. they dont get involved but the listen to everyone around them's conversation. i learned some "things" early but i never had to see or do anything i just had to listen

I don't think kids necessarily learn bad things faster. I grew up in the Middle Ages, and kids were smoking, doing drugs, and getting pregnant at early ages back then. I used to swear when I was in elementary school. I heard the words, but I had no clue what they meant until someone told me!!!

In a way, I feel sorry for the younger generation. They have everything in their faces constantly, thanks to electronic media. I think the worst is how "sexy" is used or portrayed constantly in advertising, online, songs, etc. It makes it seem like a "relationship" has to be about looks and sex. It makes it seem like there's something wrong with you if you don't meet the "standards" that you're told you need to meet. That can negatively affect a person's self-esteem for the rest of their life.
