Nii continued her barrage of knives. "3. 2. 1."

The grenade exploded.

Steve doesn't flinch. "Grenades.. build me up."

Whitney tensed. "DANG IT."

Nii disappeared into the forest. "You wanna find them! THEN CATCH ME!"

Steve shook his head. "No I wanna find Marissa."

"Marissa's with them! FIND ME! AND I'LL TELL YOU!!!!!"

"Ok." Steve snaps his fingers and the forest catches on fire. "Might as well make it easy on me."

Nii puts it out "THAT WON'T WO-ORK~" Nii yelled in a singsong voice.

Steve looked around. "Ok then." Steve walked into the forest.

Nii landed in a clearing and says Ulqiourra "Hi Ulqiourra."

"Two of people, one her friend." Steve laughed as he walked into the clearing.

Marissa's jaw dropped. "Ulqiourra."

Ulqiourra hugged Nii. "Please don't tell him where they are."

"Why so you can keep them safe?" Steve asks.

Marissa stands up. "I have to go up." Marissa vanishes.

"MARISSA!" Whitney looks around.

"YES!" Ulqiourra said

Steve stepped towards them. "To late, Marissa will not live without you Ulqiourra. You are her friend."

Marissa appeared in front of Nii and Ulqiourra. "You won't hurt them."

"NO!" Iki yelled too late.

Steve smiled gripping his sword. "Look at you, do anything for your friends."

"Because.. they're my friends." Marissa looked at Nii and Ulqiourra then at Steve.

Nii got out daggers.

Ulqiourra pulled out a sword. "Marissa out of the way."

"No, this is my fight." Marissa pulled out her gun.

"A gun?" Steve tensed.

"I mean it Marissa."

Marissa's eyes were on the brim with tears. "NO!!!" Marissa pulled the trigger.

Steve looked confused. "Wheres the bullet?"

Marissa felt blood running down her cheek. "Huh!?"

Steve looked at the blood. "What?"

Ulqiourra shot a cero over Marissa.

Marissa wiped the blood off her face. "Where did it come from.."

Steve ducked. "Marissa why are you bleeding?"

Ulqiourra walked back to Nii.

"I know why.." Marissa dissapeared and reappeared back in the safety room.

"Your.. oh." Whitney smiled and rubbed Marissa's forehead with a tissue. "It happened again?"
